Chris B I am not a fan of creature features but found this very passable thanks to some good characters, the claustrophobic setting and atmospheric lighting. Surrounded by a forested area, the passengers are stalked by werewolves. A fight for survival begins and most of the passengers will not make it to the end of their journey. "Howl" sets the right tone in creating the ideal environment: the train cars are claustrophobic, the forest is menacing, and the storm only adds to the chaos and violence that lurks outside. The movie proves that a simple plot enriched by a strong setting is sometimes enough to deliver effective terror.
