Users with cape: Fuzzlyman, kent600, billyK_
The cape was made for billyK_ for suggesting that turtles be added to Minecraft. It is unknown to me why Fuzzlyman and kent600 have it, please let me know if you know!
Users with cape: NoobyToBe74, Gr8bizzo
Even after researching this intently, I couldn’t find anything on this cape. The only thing that I know is that NoobyToBe74 got the cape after Gr8bizzo.
Users: LolFoxy2, evilontop
This cape was made by a new Mojang employee. After a few days, it was noticed by another dev and removed, but 2 users have managed to get their hands on it. We don’t know evilontops story. One theory is that one of them bought Bedorck and Java but didn’t get the Vanilla cape, so they contacted support and asked them for the Vanilla cape. But since Vanilla and Valentine are so similar in name, they accidentally clicked on the Valentine cape instead. LolFoxy2 got the cape after solving issues with migration.
Users: Debuggg
This was given to DannyBStyle, who makes video game music, because Notch was a fan. Unfortunately, DannyBStyle’s account was hacked by Debug, which is the cause for the rename.
Users: akronman1
This was given to akronman1 because he was the millionth person to buy a copy of Minecraft.
Users: Drullkus
Drullkus is a mod creater who made a remake of the Prismarine texture, and Jeb took notice and gave Drullkus a prismarine cape because Jeb really liked the design.
Users: _KaptanBey0_
This is the cape that, at time or writing, everyone has been talking about. The Twitch and TikTok capes are supposed to be coming to Java in June, but this cape appeared early. We can’t be for sure about this, but we believe that the cape was sent out as a test to a random person who had already completed the Twitch anniversary event, to make sure that it worked. Maybe a new cape animation or code, the reason they didn’t do it for the TikTok cape not coming out it because the Twitch and TikTok capes run on the same code.
Users: JulianClark
In a Minecraft version, I believe 1.13, Notch added the splash text ‘Bring me Ray Cokes!’ JulianClark knew Ray Cokes in real life- and sent Notch a picture. It wasn’t a normal picture though, apparently Julian held Ray Cokes at gunpoint (though Ray knew that would be the case and agreed to it). The reason that it’s a snowman I don’t want to risk saying because I might get forum banned again.
Users: MrMessiah
MrMessiah created a lighting mod, which Notch used to create new lighting for Minecraft. The cape was Notch’s way of saying ‘thank you’.
Users: etanaratsastaja
The cape was originally named the ‘Sniffer’ cape. I found a website that said that the user is a Mojang employee, but I’m not sure that that is true. Unfortunately, that’s all I could dig up on this. Please let me know if you know anything about this.
Users: cheapsh0t
This is the Japanese version of the Translator and Chinese Translator cape. It is just like the normal Translator cape, but with a Japanese flag on the bottom.
Bedrock Edition Capes
*As Bedrock has no API, I cannot make estimates on how many users use this cape.
This was given to every Minecraft player in 2019. Fortunately for you guys, you can still get this cape, for the very reasonable price of around 55 thousand dollars!
This cape is given to every person who owns Bedrock edition.
This was given to every Mojang Studios coder. Eventually everything was changed to look exactly like The Pan Cape.
This cape was part of the Pride 2023 event, along with a ton of Minecraft Marketplace cosmetics.

Before I go, I’d like to list off a warning. 99% of these accounts listed with special capes were hacked and sold for profit, so I would suggest that, if you come into a special cape, you equip Microsoft Authenticator to help secure your account, as that means that you have to approve a sign-in. This should help your account security greatly. Thank you!
